Dawn Menge is the mother of three children and three grandchildren.  She has a Masters and clear Credential in special Education from California State University San Bernardino.  She is currently a PHD candidate in Curriculum and Instruction through Capella University.

She has been working in the education field for fifteen years.  She is currently the director of the Snowline Young Adult Center for the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools.  She teaches the 18-22 year old severely handicapped student’s functional/vocational skills.

    
Dawn Menge is the award winning author of the educational series “Queen Vernita’s Visitors” and “Queen Vernita Visits the Blue Ice Mountains”.  Queen Vernitas next adventure “Queen Vernita Meets Sir Heathy Bean the Astronomer” is projected to be released in the spring of 2010.
