Eric Jerome Brown is a writer, producer, and documentary film maker from the Washington D.C. area. He graduated from James Madison University, where as a student, he continued his independent study of African American history and fiction, while also taking courses in creative writing. He completed his B.A. in English in 1994, and briefly attended graduate school at the Savannah College or Art and Design. He has published poems and technical articles in various academic publications. He currently works in the Information Technology field while continuing to work on various fiction projects. Miss Sue Lucky's Fishin' Secrets is his first work of fiction. He lives in Virginia with his wife and children.
