Irene Smalls
Irene Smalls is the author of fourteen books for children, including Irene and the Big, Fine Nickel, which the New York Times Book Review named an Oustanding Book for 1991, Jonathan and his Mommy, and, most recently, Father's Day Blues. She is a graduate of Cornell University and holds an M.B.A. from New York University. Originally from Harlem, she now lives in Boston, Massachusetts and is the mother of three children.
