Marcus Hasty grew up in North Chicago surrounded by drugs and poverty. After years of being part of the problem,he picked up his pen  while serving time in a maximum security prison  for a drug and gun charge, and began being apart of the solution .Three months later Beastmode was finished,and quickly became the talk of all the prisons, which have labeled him the "Tupac" of the  wriiting game.
