Monique D. Howell, was born in Oklahoma City, Ok., she is the eldest daughter of Bishop Donald and Evangelist Cathedral Howell.   She is a 1999 graduate of Summerville High School.  After high school, Monique enlisted in the United States Army.  She worked in the military as an Administrative Clerk assisting the soldiers.  She completed four years of military duty and during those years, she travelled all over the world.

The mandate on Monique's life reaches beyond her home and her church.  She is also called to the community.  She is a local HIV advocate, where she educates people in the community about HIV/AIDS awareness.  Her story has taken her on various platforms to deliver her message.  She has spoken at many churches, colleges, high schools and on radio shows.  Her goal is to break the stigma, HIV/AIDS is real and it could happen to you! 

With her new breath of life, God has allowed Monique to walk in a new arena of life; she is now a new author of her first book called, "Living inside my skin of Silence”, which will be released late August 2010.  This book has really been apart of her testimony.  Her story is now moving beyond her local community, and now to the nation!
