Phyllis Brooks-Pugh is a native South Carolinian.  She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Communications and a Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology.  She obtained her B.A. from Columbia College and her M.A. from South Carolina State University. 

She currently resides in Charlotte, NC where for the past eleven years she was employed with Merck Pharmaceuticals, and won numerous leadership and other awards along with being promoted to the highest level of Executive Sales Representative.  She has recently transitioned back to the field of Speech-Language Pathology.  In addition to completing her first motivational book/guide, she is increasing her presence in the realm of motivational speaking with a focus on adolescents and is in the process of finalizing her Youth Motivational Non-Profit organization. 

She is a member of the Jack and Jill Club of America and the Biltmore Who’s Who of America, National Association of Professional Women, and Women Who Care Coalition.  Her resume also consists of being a graduate of Barbizon Modeling agency and has performed in several local commercials and plays.  She recently gained representation from HNE Reality Casting Agency and continues to pursue her dream of acting.
