Stelle Tonon, a self-proclaimed 'wild child', found herself on the streets once too often as a teen after countless conflicts with her parents.
Tonon was adopted by her middle-school principal and husband who engaged Tonon with the no fences philosophy, ultimately inspiring her to write the book and illustrate it with her own photographs. Tonon heartily believes that no fences saved her life and set her on a path that encourages stronger self-esteem and allows for authentic intimacy with a partner.
